Poached pear with lemon verbena

Lemon verbena poached pears are the ideal dessert to end a meal in a light and fruity way.

It is also a recipe rich in vitamins and healthy for the body.

2 sprigs of lemon verbena

2 tbsp. tablespoon of sugar

Recipe for poached pear with lemon verbena

  1. In a saucepan, heat 1L of water, add the lemon verbena leaves and sugar. Mix and bring to a boil.
  2. Peel the pears with a peeler and place them in the syrup and cook them over low heat for 10 min.
  3. Turn them once or twice during cooking so that they absorb the scent of verbena. Serve hot in small verrines with a little broth!
