Let's revisit the crème brûlée with this wonderful recipe for creme brulee with orange and gingerbread.
Easy and quick to prepare, it should surprise as much as it will delight your guests!

Ingredients for 6 people:
- 10 cl of milk
- 250 g of liquid cream
- 5 egg yolks
- 60 g of caster sugar
- 1 orange
- 6 slices of gingerbread
- 60 g of vergeoise sugar
Orange creme brulee and gingerbread recipe
Heat the milk with the orange zest then pour over the egg yolks mixed with the sugar.
Pour the cream into this mixture and let cool.
Crumble 1/2 slice of gingerbread in the bottom of each fondue pot.
Then fill with ¾ cream, and cook in the oven for 40 min (thermostat 3-90 °).
When taken out of the oven, the cream should be shaky. Let cool then place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Sprinkle with vergeoise sugar and place under the grill of the oven for 2 min until browned.
- Decorate with diced gingerbread.
